Lane Restrictions Set for Lone Mountain

Drivers need to be ready for lane restrictions along Lone Mountain Road starting Monday.

The road will be down to one lane between Jones Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until December 19. Flaggers will be directing traffic. The road will be opened back up to two lanes by 4 p.m. each day.

Construction crews will be working on a new storm drain. It is part of the $9 million Lone Mountain Storm Drain project that is being funded by the City of Las Vegas and the Clark County Regional Flood Control District. The entire project is expected to be finished by the summer of 2012.

The city is advising drivers to use Craig or Ann Roads as alternates to Lone Mountain.
