Metro Police officers were busy investigating multiple robberies on Friday night.

The first robbery happened at the City Lights business located at 2650 South Decatur around 6 p.m. Detectives said two suspects walked into the bar and grill restaurant armed with a gun and demanded money.

At one point someone was even pistol whipped, officers said. Police said the alleged suspects didn't stop their robbery spree there because right after they hit City Lights, they ran across the street and robbed four more people.

Robbery detectives said shots were fired, but no one was hurt. The alleged robbers are still on the run.

Fast forward 40 minutes later and Metro Police were called to investigate another robbery. This one took place at a CVS located at 4800 West Charleston Boulevard.

Officers said around 6:43 p.m. a man wearing a hoodie and armed with a metal pole walked into the store and robbed the cashier. The suspect got away, but he was caught a little later.

Anyone with information in regards to either of these robberies is asked to call Metro Police at (702) 828-3591. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
