The owners of a popular food truck are establishing two non-mobile restaurants, and they are looking for people to work there.

Slidin’ Thru is opening restaurants in the northwest part of the valley. The company is looking to hire 60 people to work in the eateries, which are set to open in November. Ricardo Guerrero owns Slidin’ Thru. He says he could not be happier about giving jobs to people who desperately need work.

“We do feel fortunate enough that our business has reached a certain amount of success that we are able to expand and move forward,” Guerrero said.

The company held two mobile job fairs Monday, and both spots were filled with people filling out applications. The Slidn’ Thru job fairs closed at 6 p.m.

Another Las Vegas company looking to hire will be taking applications until Wednesday. Williams-Sonoma is looking to fill 80 positions for its customer service department. People interested in applying can go to the corporate offices at Covington Cross Drive in Summerlin.
