Police Looking for Men Involved in Series of Burglaries

Metro Police are searching for three more people they believe are involved in a series of burglaries in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley.

Police arrested one suspect in connection with the burglaries and now believe there are three more people involved.

According to police, Norman Cook, 49 of Las Vegas was arrested Oct. 22 on multiple counts of burglary and obtaining money or property under false pretenses.

Cook was arrested after police said he pawned property taken during a residential burglary.

Detectives believe the men would arrive in a neighborhood in the early morning hours as people were leaving for work and other activities. When they found homes they believed were empty, one of the suspects would knock on the door. If there was no response, they would get inside through an unlocked door or window, or they would forcibly break into the home.

Police say they would steal cash, jewelry, electronics and firearms.

Officers have pictures of two of the men. They're described as black men, between 20 and 30 years old and between 5 foot 6 and 6 foot 1. One man has long hair worn in either braids or dreadlocks.

The description and photograph of the fourth suspect has not been found by investigators.
