Woman Arrested for YMCA Burglaries

A woman is under arrest in connection with a series of car burglaries at the Durango Hills YMCA.

According to the Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals, 36-year-old Jolie Elizabeth Thomas was arrested on four felony charges, including burglary, obtaining and using personal information for another person, and fraudulent use of a credit card or debit card.

Three burglaries happened August 7 and 8 in the parking lot of the facility at 3521 North Durango Drive. Purses were taken and credit cards used for several transactions, marshals said.

The marshals are crediting the public with helping them track down the suspect. They say several tips lead them to Thomas.

She has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center and bail was set at $50,000.
