Metro Police are looking for two men in connection with an armed robbery of a store near Rainbow Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.

According to police, both men walked into the store in the 3000 block of North Rainbow Boulevard Wednesday, March 20 at about 7:15 p.m.

One man walked to the rear of the store and pretended to be a customer, police said. While he distracted an employee, the other man approached a cashier, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The men walked out the door with an undisclosed amount of money. They left on foot.

The first person is described as a black man between 18 and 25 years old. He is about 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with a Michael Jordon logo on the front, black baseball cap with red logo and blue jeans. Police said he was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

The second person is described as a black man between 18 and 25 years old. He is about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue zip-up jacket with black trim, black baseball cap and black jeans.
