Metro Police are looking for a robbery suspect that used a hot beverage to rob a store.

The robbery happened May 16 at a store on the 3900 block of North Tenaya Way. The suspect walked into the store, filled a cup with a hot beverage, approached the counter and threw the liquid at the clerk. The clerk was severely burned. The suspect stole cash from the register and fled the business.

The suspect is described as a black man between 18 and 25 years old. He is 5-foot-10 and between 160 and 180 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt with a white lining, an orange shirt and blue jeans.
