Nevada Senator Harry Reid this week met with students from Arbor View High School in his Washington, D.C. office. Eight students and their teacher from the Clark County public high school traveled to the nation’s capital to learn the lessons of history and government in person.

“I'm glad I had the opportunity to sit down with these bright young students from Arbor View High School in Las Vegas,” Reid said. “These impressive students are highly engaged on the issues affecting their education and I encouraged them to remain actively involved.”

Arbor View High School opened in 2005 and today serves nearly 2,700 students in grades nine through 12.
