Police release composite sketch of possible road rage suspect

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police released Saturday a sketch of a person connected to the shooting of a woman during a road rage incident.

Tammy Meyers was shot at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday night outside of her Las Vegas home near Alta Drive and Cimarron Road. The incident happened shortly after Meyers gave her daughter a driving lesson in a parking lot near their home.

Officers said Tammy got into a minor accident on her way home, so she pulled over. Her husband, Robert Meyers says three men in the other vehicle got into a confrontation with his wife causing her to be frightened and drive home.

Meyers says once the pair arrived home, his daughter ran from the car into the house. He said his 23-year-old son came out of the house and witnessed the suspects shooting at his mother. The son returned fire with a handgun, according to Meyers.

Detectives said one of the occupants of the vehicle is described as a white male adult approximately 25 years of age, about 6 feet tall, weighting approximately 180 pounds. He's said to have hazel or blue eyes and dirty blonde hair that he wears spiked

The vehicle can only be described as a four-door grey or silver sedan and may possibly have damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle. It is also possible the car may have impact rounds from gunfire.

No arrests have been made.
