Police Arrest 2 Men in Purse Snatching Spree

LAS VEGAS -- Two brothers are under arrest in connection with a purse snatching spree in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley and in the city of North Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Police say they arrested 22-year-old Brent Cline and 24-year-old Raymond Cline on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and attempted robbery.

Two women suffered minor injuries during the crimes.

The brothers worked together to rob women of their purses and wallets in the parking lots of grocery stores and casinos, police said. Metro says seven incidents happened in their jurisdiction and one in North Las Vegas' jurisdiction.

Police credited tips from the community for tracking down the suspects. Metro teamed with North Las Vegas Police to find the two men.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
