Police Seek Public's Help for Injured Victim

LAS VEGAS -- Police are hoping someone can tell them what happened to a man who went out for a jog and was found injured in a park restroom.

According to Metro Police, the incident happened on Sunday, Dec. 15 around 2:35 p.m. at a northwest community park known as South Tower Park near West Charleston Boulevard and Vista Run Drive.

The unconscious man was found in the men's restroom. He suffered a head injury and was transported to a hospital.

Police say the man has been unable to assist them due to his injuries. The victim is described as a white man, approximately 6-foot-3-inches tall, around 220 pounds with short blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray jogging suit with white stripes down the legs, a gray shirt and blue tennis shoes. He left his residence around 11 a.m. to go jogging in the park.

Anyone with information or who may have seen the man on the day of the incident is asked to call Metro's Violent Crimes Section at 828-5634, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
