Hospice Makes Move for More Space
Health, News

Nathan Adelson Hospice will move its Buffalo inpatient facility into the MountainView Medical Offices to gain more space, the company’s president announced Thursday.

The new space will be located on the third floor of the building at 3150 N. Tenaya Way, at the corner of Cheyenne Avenue, adjacent to MountainView Hospital. Move-in is expected by January.

The 1,000 additional square feet and accessible location will be assets to the non-profit hospice, allowing for a more comfortable setting, four more patient beds (jumping the number from 14 to 18), improved parking and security, scenic views for patients and their families, a large conference room, and additional room for the Home Care team.

The team will have a better environment to connect to the Nathan Adelson Hospice system and pick up supplies for patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  In addition, patients and their families will have access to the 24-hour MountainView Hospital chapel and meditation room as well as its employee and visitor cafeteria.
