Shredding and Family Movie Night Planned for Centennial Hills
Events

Las Vegas City Councilman Steven Ross is inviting everyone living in Ward 6 to come out for two events planned for the next two weekends.

The first event is a free shredding day set for Saturday. From 10 a.m. to noon at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center, people can bring documents they need destroyed to the center for shredding. There is a limit of five per boxes per car.

Opportunity Village will also be collecting gently used clothing items.

The second event is Friday, April 19. Ross will be hosting a free movie night in the park at the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre. The film "The Odd Life of Timothy Green", a PG rated movie, will start at 6:30 p.m.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets, folding chairs and food. The Slidin' Thru food truck will also be there for people to purchase food.
