Police Searching for Clues in Mysterious Park Shooting

 

Metro Police are looking for help to find the person who shot two women at a park this past weekend.

At about 11:15 a.m. Saturday, the women were watching an international soccer match at Teton Trails Park, which is near Bradley Road and Deer Springs Way, when they were hit by bullets.

One woman was hit in the leg while the other's chest was grazed. Both women were taken to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are still trying to find out from which direction the bullets were fired. They are also looking for information on the person or persons responsible.

Pharmacy Robber Sought by Police

 

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police need help finding a man suspected of five robbery attempts at local pharmacies.

The suspect has robbed or attempted to rob five pharmacies since Dec. 10, usually between 6-9:30 p.m., in the northwest area of the city. The suspect usually approaches the pharmacy clerk, simulates a weapon in his jacket pocket, and demands medications.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, light brown or reddish hair, and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a light ball cap, black jacket, a gray shirt and prescription glasses.

Metro Police is searching for a man who robbed a business in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley.

According to police, the suspect walked into a business near Cheyenne Avenue and the 215 beltway just before 11 p.m. October 30. Once inside the business, he walked to the manager's office, pulled out a gun and demanded money. The manager gave him the money, and he left the business.

The gunman is described as a white man who is in his 20s or 30s. He is 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He wears glasses and is possibly bald.

Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank near Farm Road and Durango Drive.

The robbery happened at about 2:20 p.m. September 19. According to police, the suspect walked into the bank and gave the teller a note, demanding money. The teller gave the man money, and he left the bank on a mountain bike.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s. He is 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds. He has a pot belly and a small black beard. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a brown hat on backward, sunglasses, a tan T-shirt, gray shorts with a white and black stripe, and white shoes. He may have been wearing a wig under his hat.

Police Search for Three People Who Tried to Rob a Store

Metro Police are looking for three people who tried to rob a business near Decatur and the northern beltway.

The three people walked into the business at about 9 p.m. August 24. According to police, they tried to get into a back room but couldn't. Then one of the people pulled out a gun and tried to grab an employee, demanding he take them to the safe. The employee yelled and the would-be robbers ran without getting any money.

The first person police are looking for is described as black between 18 and 24 years old. The person is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and 130 to 145 pounds. This person could be a woman with a mustache and beard drawn on her face. The suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a black button-up shirt.

The second person is a black man between 18 and 24 years old. He is 5-foot-8 and 6-foot and 180 to 200 pounds. He was carrying the gun. He was wearing a red and white baseball cap and a blue button-up shirt.

Metro Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank Friday.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank near Craig Road and Jones Boulevard just after 2 p.m. The suspect approached the teller and gave him a note demanding money. The teller gave the man money, and he left the area on a dark colored mountain bike.

The suspect is described as a white man between 35 and 40 years old. He is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9 and weighs between 165 and 175 pounds. He is clean shaven but was wearing a long, gray, shaggy wig. He also had on a camouflage hat, black and gray gloves, long sleeve dark shirt and dark pants.

Police Search for Men in Connection with Robbery

Metro Police are searching for four men they say stole from a convenience store and beat up two employees.

The crime happened June 22 at a store in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley. The suspects walked into the store stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise and battered the employees.
