Police Searching for Woman Who Robbed Bank

Metro Police are searching for a woman who robbed a bank in the area of Jones Boulevard and Craig Road.

According to police, the robbery happened Jan. 21 at around 4 p.m. The woman walked into the bank and went directly to a teller. She demanded money then lifted her coat to show that she had a handgun, police said. The teller gave the woman money, and she fled.

The woman police are looking for is described as a white woman between 30 and 40 years old. She is between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8 and about 135 pounds with a thin build and blond hair.

At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black, bucket-type hat, black sunglasses, black coat and blue jeans.

Police Looking for Purse Snatcher

Metro Police are looking for a man responsible for a string of purse snatchings in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley.

According to police, the suspect targets women in parking lots of stores and casinos. In one incident, a woman was hurt when the man ripped her wallet from her hands.

The man was caught on camera at a grocery store near Centennial Hills Parkway and Ann Road. After the surveillance camera captured his image, the man approached a woman in the store's parking lot and took her wallet. He then got into a gray sedan and left the scene.

Police Search for Man Involved in Two Robberies

Metro Police are searching for a man who robbed two convenience stores in October.

According to police, the first robbery happened just after 4 a.m. Oct. 19 at a store in the 3900 block of North Tenaya Way.

The man walked into the store, pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, police said. The clerk gave the man money and he ran from the store southbound towards an apartment complex.

The second robbery happened in the 7500 block of West Cheyenne Avenue just after 4 a.m. Oct. 21. Police say the man followed the same pattern has the other robbery. He used a small black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

The man police are looking for is described as a black man between 18 and 22 years old, 6 foot and between 170 and 180 pounds.

Police Looking for Men Involved in Series of Burglaries

Police Looking for Men Involved in Series of Burglaries

Metro Police are searching for three more people they believe are involved in a series of burglaries in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley.

Police arrested one suspect in connection with the burglaries and now believe there are three more people involved.

According to police, Norman Cook, 49 of Las Vegas was arrested Oct. 22 on multiple counts of burglary and obtaining money or property under false pretenses.

Cook was arrested after police said he pawned property taken during a residential burglary.

Detectives believe the men would arrive in a neighborhood in the early morning hours as people were leaving for work and other activities. When they found homes they believed were empty, one of the suspects would knock on the door. If there was no response, they would get inside through an unlocked door or window, or they would forcibly break into the home.

Police say they would steal cash, jewelry, electronics and firearms.

Marshals Looking for Suspect in Car Burglary

The City of Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals are looking for help to find a person responsible for burglarizing a car at Centennial Hills Park.

The crime happened Sept. 15 in the park's parking lot. The person took credit cards and used them several times.

The person marshals are looking for is described as an Hispanic man in his mid-30s. He is 5 feet 8 inches and between 170 and 185 pounds. He has long black hair that may be in a pony tail.

The person may be driving a black Chevrolet Suburban with heavily tinted windows. The car may have a paper dealership advertisement instead of a license plate.

Metro Police are looking for a man in connection with a convenience store robbery that happened near Tenaya Way and Azure Drive.

The robbery happened August 20. The man police are looking for is described as being white and in his 20s. He has a heavy build and short-cropped hair.

Police Looking for Man in Connection with 2 Robberies

Metro Police are searching for a man responsible for two robberies in the past week.

According to police, the robberies happened at businesses in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley.

The man enters the business, goes directly to the counter, pulls out a gun and demands money, police said.

Once he gets the money, he leaves the store.

The man is described as a white man between 18 and 22 years old. He is about 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a striped hoodie, blue jeans, gloves and black shoes.
