Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Metro Police arrested a man and a woman responsible for a string of robberies in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley.
The arrests happened early Tuesday morning. Officers say the pair robbed a convenience store on South Rainbow Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m. A few minutes later a Las Vegas City Marshall spotted the car used in the robbery near U.S. 95 and Jones Boulevard. He pulled the car over and arrested the woman driving. The passenger fled the scene on foot. A Metro Police canine unit was called to the scene. They found the second suspect a short time later and arrested him.
Police say the pair are responsible for robbing at least nine convince stores in the northwest area between July 17 and their arrest Tuesday morning. Most of the robberies happened during late evenings and early mornings. The identities of the suspects are being withheld because the investigation is still going on.
