Wells Fargo offering reward in attempted bank robbery | Crime
Wells Fargo is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who tried to rob one of its banks and hurt one of its employees in the process.
According to the FBI, just after 8 a.m. Saturday, a man came up to a bank employee who was opening the bank at Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard and demanded money.
He took a brown Wells Fargo bank bag, the employee's purse and cell phone. He also hit the woman in the head with a gun, causing a cut on her head.
The man the FBI is looking for is described as a black man, 25 years old, 5 foot 5 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black and gray knit cap, a black zip up jacket with argyle pattern and gray pants.
The bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (702) 385-1281, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
