Student Concert Benefits Newtown Shooting Victims | Charity

Students at Cadwallader Middle School hosted a concert Thursday to benefit victims of the school shootings in Newtown, Conn.

The school’s band, choir, orchestra and guitar programs, along with the school’s STATUS (Students Taking Action to Terminate Unlawful Substances) group, sponsored a benefit concert to show support and offer aid to the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.

Tickets cost $2 and donations were accepted as well, with all money going being sent to Connecticut.
