2 people arrested, 2 cited, 1 pepper-sprayed during incident at Centennial High

Five people faced some trouble with school police following an incident outside Centennial High School Friday.

It started around 7 a.m. as an altercation in the parking lot of the school's campus located at 10200 W Centennial Pkwy.

According to Clark County School Police, three females composed of two women and one juvenile, along with two underage males were on the school property without permission, so they were asked to leave, but they refused so school police were called.

When officers arrived at the scene to escort them off of the property, one of the females confronted the officer. The officer grabbed her and restrained her on a car before letting her go and telling her to leave, but again, she came running toward the officer, and that's when she was pepper-sprayed.

Officers said a Centennial High student told them that he was robbed by one of the males before officers arrived at the scene.

During the police search of the five people, a knife was found on one of the individuals, but no one was hurt.

CCSDPD arrested all five of the people. The two underage males were taken to Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. The two women were cited.

The other female was taken by police to her legal guardian.
