Spring Fling at Spring Mountain Ranch

Spring Mountain Ranch Homeowner Master Association, a 1620 single family home  community, is on their 5th year of holding their Annual Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt.  The HOA Board looks to continue building a stronger community amongst the residents of the HOA with this activity.  This year they are excited to continue the community building beyond their walls with the second year of a Can Food Drive.  As well they are very excited to have the City of Las Vegas Neighborhood Services to have an anti graffiti banner signing for the children.
After last year’s success with the addition of a ‘Can Food Drive’ that brought in over 700 food items and cash they felt the importance to continue this program.  This year the HOA will be donating all items collected to Three Square.  With the strains many families are still feeling with the economic conditions it is important to reach beyond the walls as a residential community and help the people in need.

This year Spring Mountain Ranch children will also have the opportunity to make a pledge for April Graffiti Awareness Month.  The City of Las Vegas Neighborhood Services will be bringing an anti-graffiti banner for all the children to sign and pledge.  As no part of the valley is safe from graffiti it is vital to teach the children how costly the crime is to the community.
The HOA spent over $10,000 in graffiti clean up and repair in 2009 instead of being able to spend that money to expand the play equipment at the twelve community parks for the children.

The Spring Fling is on Saturday, April 3rd from 9am to noon at 8450 N Fort Apache, Las Vegas, NV 89143.
